.......... [total : 2 comment(s) to this image] Currently, this kind of EMU Sets were mainly assigned for Northern Sector Rural Commuter Service which plying Bagan/Butterworth and Padang Besar (Komuter Kedah) as well as Butterworth/Bukit Mertajam and Padang Rengas (Komuter Aman Jaya (Utara)).
There is 16 numbers of this type of EMU left in KTMB. Meanwhile another six consisting EMU 21, EMU 27, EMU 34, EMU 36, EMU 37, and EMU 38 were scrapped in several places like Behrang (EMU 21, EMU 27, EMU 34, EMU 36, and EMU 37) and Klang (EMU 38 after involved in a serious derailment - or The Flying Singh Tragedy - in Kampung Seri Kenangan, near Bukit Badak Halt of Klang at around 1997).

Ia digunakan sebagai Tren Komuter Khas yang membawa dif-dif kenamaan dan orang ramai dalam satu larian percuma (free ride) dari Padang Rengas ke Taiping sewaktu Majlis Pelancaran Lanjutan KTM Komuter (Utara) ke Taiping dan Padang Rengas pada 3hb September 2016 yang lalu.

According to an EMU Depot Technician, the actual wiring system condition in this class of commuter train had not similar at all with these Class 82 EMU Train Sets' Manual. Not similar at all. Cost for the recovery also is too high. If I am not mistaken as high as buying the new EMU or higher than buying a new EMU.
So, the best step and way is scrap. BOS or Brought Out from Service is the best way. There will no losses occurred because of these EMU Sets' Recovery Jobs.

Tidak ada lagi bunyi Ting-Tong-Ting-Tong, tidak ada lagi kenderaan beratur sementara lipan besi berlalu pergi, tidak ada lagi "trainspotting" beramai-ramai (tengok kereta api lalu get ting-tong-ting-tong berlalu pergi), semua tinggal kenangan.

[total : 6 comment(s) to this image] Tren Blok Nombor 351 Turun di atas sebenarnya ialah Tren Blok BBC-BBC Malayan Cement Blue Circle Group (kini Lafarge-Holcim) Bermuatan Simen Portland Biasa Pukal yang dalam perjalanan dari Kilang Simen Malayan Cement Blue Circle Group Kanthan. Pada tahun 1999 - awal tahun 2001, Jumlah Perkhidmatan Tren Blok untuk syarikat Malayan Cement Industries Berhad, anak syarikat milik penuh Blue Circle Group International yang berpangkalan di England itu cukup banyak. Lebih daripada 20 buah Tren Blok untuk syarikat tersebut merangkumi 33x, 34x, dan 35x. Tasek Cement Corporation Berhad menggunakan Nombor 361 Turun - 364 Naik, manakala CIMA dan Perak-Hanjoong Simen punya Nombor Tren Blok, masih kekal sama sehingga ke hari ini.
Pada ketika itu, Malayan Cement Blue Circle Group ialah syarikat pengeluar simen yang paling banyak Depoh Pengagihan Simen di seluruh Rangkaian KTMB. Dikelolakan oleh Simen Utama Sendirian Berhad, Depoh-Depoh Pengagihan Simen tersebut terletak di Padang Jawa, Jalan Tandang/Petaling Jaya, Tampoi/Majidee, dan Pulau Sebang/Tampin. Tren-Tren Blok tersebut akan dilarikan sama ada dari Kanthan (ke semua Depoh Pengagihan Simen Malayan Cement Blue Circle Group) atau Rawang (ke Tampin/Pulau Sebang dan Majidee/Tampoi sahaja). Dan Depoh-Depoh Pengagihan Simen Malayan Cement Blue Circle Group Majidee/Tampoi dan Petaling Jaya/Jalan Tandang mula ditutup kepada trafik pada tahun 2001.
Mulai sekitar 2001, cuma ada hanyalah Tren Blok Nombor 331 Turun dan 333 Turun (BBC-BBC dan BCF-BCF Bertangki Simen Pukal Mudah Alih Kosong dikembalikan sebagai 332 Naik dan 334 Naik) ke Padang Jawa serta 337 Turun (kembali sebagai 336 Naik) yang semuanya bertolak dari Kanthan. Dan nombor 33x kekal digunakan oleh Malayan Cement Blue Circle Group sehingga ke detik ini. Manakala 34x yang dahulunya digunakan oleh Malayan Cement Blue Circle Group digunakan oleh Tasek Cement Corporation Berhad hingga ke detik ini.
Menyentuh soal Blok Antara Stesen di dalam kawasan Rawang - Ipoh sebelum wujudnya Landasan Berkembar Elektrik, kebanyakan kawasan Blok Antara Stesen di dalam sektor ini menggunakan Blok Geganti Automatik (Relay Automatic Blocks atau RAB). Kawasan ini meliputi Ipoh - Lahat (Stesen Lahat menggunakan kaedah Tiket Jalan Bebas Bersurat atau Paper Line Clear Ticket setelah stesen asalnya terbakar pada tahun 1992) dan Malim Nawar - Rawang. Cuma Lahat - Malim Nawar sahaja yang menggunakan Radas Kekunci Token (Tanpa Suaimuka Pemprosesan Mikro). Kaedah Blok Geganti Automatik ini dipasang dan diperkenalkan mulai akhir tahun 1983.
Menyentuh perihal Tuan Haji Abdul Wahid bin Abu Samad, beliau kini masih menjawat jawatan Ketua Stesen Batu Gajah. Beliau kini dibantu oleh Encik Abdul Rahim bin Osman dan Encik Ahmad Zaidi bin Mokhtar (Mantan Ketua Stesen Pelabuhan Klang (1998 - 2003) dan Ipoh (2003 - 2007)). Tuan Haji Abdul Wahid kini menetap di Stesen 18, Lahat, Ipoh. Beliau pernah bertugas bersama datuk saudara saya, Encik Abdul Rashid bin Harun sewaktu datuk saudara saya berkhidmat sebagai Penjaga Lintasan Rata (Gateman) di Lintasan Rata Swasta Malayan Tin Dredging (jalan masuk ke Kampung Sungai Terap, Kampung Seri Indah, dan Stesen Janakuasa Elektrik Haba Kinta Electrical Distribution/KED - boleh keluar ke Lahat melalui Jalan Taman Tasik SM Noor - Taman Jutaria/Lembah Permai - Kinta Perdana - Balai Bomba Lahat).

It because the cost is too expensive. He added, the wiring design in the South African-made EMU Sets are not same as similar as in the manual.
Its seem like most possibly most of Class 82 EMU Sets will be SCRAP.

Model tersebut dibina pada pertengahan dekad 1970-an dengan nilai RM 2 Juta serta dilengkapi dengan segala simulasi Sistem Persemboyanan Blok dan Stesen KTM. Dan kini, model tersebut dipindahkan ke Akademi KTMB Batu Gajah serta sudah tidak banyak stok kereta mini yang digunakan dalam simulasi di Batu Gajah, berbanding di Sentul dahulu.

The Arnold Schwazenegger's Hometown-made EMU's seats are still in same design as similar as before, but the cushion's design are changed.

Masih berjalan dan khabarnya depoh ini bakal mengambik tempat Depoh Koc KL Sentral memandangkan Depoh Koc KL Sentral akan ditutup memandangkan keadaan Kuala Lumpur Sentral yang sudah bertukar menjadi sebuah metropolis sibuk. Banyak dipenuhi dengan bangunan. Pengambik alihan Depoh EMU ni dikhabarkan akan dilaksanakan setelah Depoh EMU Sentul sekarang berpindah ke Depoh EMU Seremban yang baru siap.
