It is very very different from Ipoh's Spooneer Road which Ipoh's Spooneer Road Railway Quarters most of them are abandoned and become secondary jungles.

what coincidence.

There are Spooner Road in both Singapore and Ipoh, and both are located quite close to the KTM railway line, as well as having the railway quarters located at both eponymous locations. So, any idea who Spooner is and what are his contributions and legacy to FMSR (the predecessor of KTM) ?

For your information my mate, Spooner was THE FIRST EVER FEDERATED MALAY STATE RAILWAYS (FMSR) GENERAL MANAGER at 1901!!! His real name was General Charles Edwin Spooner and served as The First FMSR General Manager from 1901 to 1909.
