10 of these diesel hydraulic locos were part of the builders of SMRT network structure. They delivered Platform Screen Doors, generators, switch-gears, transformers, main station equipments etc.
And its power came from a small Caterpillar engine, emitting only 280 Kilowatts!
There were also other locos from the construction firm Boots-Gammon_Singa J.V.
