Derailed=Tergelincir?

I've just remember that in Malaysian malay language, "derailed" is translated as "tergelincir".

Hmm...as far as I know, "tergelincir" could also mean "slipped".

Yes...

It is tergelincir or anjlok as in your mother tongue. Like English, Bahasa Melayu word also can hold many meanings under one same word with same spelling. Tergelincir can be meant as Terbenam as "telah masuk waktu maghrib apabila tergelincirnya matahari" or the usual slipped; "kakinya terseliuh setelah beliau tergelincir sewaktu menaiki tangga"
