Today, LTA & SMRT organised an Open House on 2 of its new stations which are "Pioneer" and "Joo Koon". These stations are part of the 'Boon Lay Extension' project which is the extension of the existing East-West line adding these 2 stations. The stations will help accomodate residents living in the inner part of Jurong West and the industrial estates at Tuas. These stations are expected to be operational on 28 Februaury 2009. |
