Jason, you might want to ban .ru and *.ua domains because from my experience policing T-T, most of these pesky bots register with IP and email addresses from RUssia and Ukraine.

1. What is T-T?

2. ahh yeah, i felt that we have forgotten to make mention of IP address.
so, do these bots sign up using the same IP add?
3. maybe there are some problems with html code or javascript, that would activate bots.
also, noted that there is a newcomer known as "deutsche bahn". he/she got a website. but i not sure if clicking on his/her website would cause virus attack on computers. (so keep this in view.) |

It's a railway-modelling website. Harmless AFAICT.
T-T is another site where I am the mod. The site also uses phpBB and like KTMRFC has been having a busy time fending off these spam-signups.

The bot's userid is "Smarty Robbyn"!!!
He/she posted at wrong boards (the tutorials board , and the club info ctr board)!!!
very similar case to the previous bot captured by me!!! |

That smarty idiot was deleted. Btw, how can i ban certain domain names at PHPBB? I wanna ban mail.ru and cashette.com, the two most bot signups.
